I will certainly be improving upon my WordPress skills, weather I intend to or not, just by way of my new project assignment.
For the purposes of my project this semester, it would be good for me to have a stronger background in Audacity. There may be students working on recording podcasts, and I fear my training from a while back will not suffice. I can start by refreshing myself on what I learned last time, before looking up more advanced features.
I would also be interested in 3D printing print blocks. I’m working on typesetting for my other job, and making custom blocks would be a fun interdisciplinary (?) activity, and valuable skill. I should start by checking in with my supervisor about blind-spots the book lab is looking to test.
